You know, the charges against Lord Black remind me very much of the charges I have made against the Liberal Party.
But we know for sure the Liberals are guilty. Lord Black is entitled to be considered innocent until proven guilty. The Liberals we know are already proven guilty. They're not entitled to a trial like an individual is. There needn't be a judge declaring the Liberals guilty. We, the people, have the right to do that. One at a time and all together on election day.
Bet the Libranos wish that weren't so.
This is the only way I could respond.
I agree with your last point about Cuba.
The worldwide "culture wars", obviously do not affect every country,
nor does is the effect the same in all countries affect. No disrespect
to Canada intended, but Canada is not driving the course of world
history at the moment (it is your good luck). However, terrorism and the
reaction it produces cetianly is, and this is certainly being driven by
fundamentalism on both proimary sides involved.
While I would like to live in a world were everybody just listens to
Salsa and boogies, that is not the world we live in. I have many other
productive interests other than having to answer the challenge
fundamentlism poses in the US and around the world. However, as it has been
said, "All that is needed to evil to triumph is for men of goodwill to
do nothing in its face."
I appreciate your comments, however, I'm try to keep my blog focused on message.
